Pastor Jack Oliver, Judson Baptist Church, former Chicago Bear, loves to serve the Homeless on Saturdays, train Christians to serve, particularly children, teens, and their parents. He washes dishes, hauls tables, leads by
example and things just go better when Jack is on the job.

This Bridge Fellowship Life Group found a way to get it done again, serving a terrific hot banquet lunch served to 100+ Homeless men and women. Patricia is a Principle at a Middle School whose parents were Missionaries in France during her teen years…but today she was one of our 3 cooks who juggled empty propane tanks to find just enough fuel to get it done. Thank you Bridge Fellowship Pastor Phil! Your 26 Life Groups share the 52 weeks
of work that makes Layman Lessons function.

Mr. Inspiration…I watched this good man from The Bridge Fellowship serve hot coffee and cold water to the Homeless all morning. Walking slowly, but surely, determined to serve, and serve well, which he did with a smile. I am proud to serve with men and women who obey God to serve others.

Here his duties are complete, as the last cup has been served, and the last of the Homeless leave the lot, while Mr. Inspiration knows he got it done.

DID YOU KNOW…HAVE YOU TOLD ANYBODY?
We collect and distribute Food and Clothing for many Christian Ministries including 2,000 Homeless Meals weekly served by Layman Lessons Ministries, Belmont Church’s Isaiah 58 Homeless Feeding Program, and hundreds of Pizzas delivered weekly to the Nashville Rescue Mission.

If you can pray one minute every week for this ministry…God can use YOU!
If you can phone, email or sort food/clothing for this ministry…God can use YOU!
If you can DRIVE, pick up food donations for this ministry…God can use YOU!

TRAINING YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR GRANDCHILDREN, MAKES GOD SMILE, AS WELL AS THE HOMELESS…PRECIOUS MEMORIES BANK BALANCE…<-$3,100.00 IF ALL BILLS WERE PAID TODAY

Our Step Van still needs diesel engine repair, estimated at $1,500 but probably $3, 000 is closer to it.
Our old Motor Home needs $700 for repairs
Our operating expenses are behind about $800

Special Thanks to our Board Leaders, the 5 people who donate weekly or monthly to this ministry, to JW who
wants to remain anonymous but who provides our nice Apartment Housing for our Training Center. We operate only from these private donations, with no support otherwise.

PRAISE REPORT, PRAYER REQUESTS…”God things”…
PRAISE! We feed 2,000 Homeless meals weekly through partnership with Belmont Church’s Isaiah 58 program and the Rescue Mission, who get 500-700 Pizzas each week from our Food Collection Route. What an HONOR you who care, share!
NEEDS… That’s Right, I’ve said it!

Sustain what we have grown to be…10th Year Now of serving! Expand to help others to help others across America…
(God’s vision is for 130 “Franchise Style” Layman Lessons!)
Downtown Building for full time Homeless and Needy Ministries…there, I’ve said it. When the Homeless are a priority for The Church, then The Church will prioritize a building where we can have truly Christian service lavished in love on the Homeless in need. We need a building where we, The Church, can bind together in scheduled service to the Homeless, to provide a safe, warm building to sleep in, spiritual guidance, and service responsibilites for
the Church Members to take ownership of, to share the blessing.

Churches with the Human and Financial Resources AND calling of God to help expand these ministries to fulfill the original vision God gave me from the start for 130 “Franchise Ministries” operated by local Churches across America, with this Nashville Ministry being the “Franchise Headquarters” to support! There, I’ve said it.

New Quiet Generator to replace the generator stolen from our locked Ministry Van. Volunteers to pick up and transport Food Donations wherever you live in Middle Tennessee. Mechanic for our Busses, Truck, and Cargo Van, to keep them up and running.

Secured Building and/or lot we can use for our vehicles and inventory storage OPERATIONS FUNDING…we need regular, dependable funding for our Operations. A volunteer with a “couple of hours a week” would help immensely in this area. An Operations Coordinator out there?

SATURDAY MORNING VOLUNTEERS…need 8-12 Volunteers every Saturday MORNING!
We are the ONLY ministry serving hot coffee to 100-160 Homeless, furnishing a 1,600 sf tent with nice chairs and tables, an Hour of Praise and Worship music followed by a full Church service with singing, preaching, spiritual counseling and prayer, a hot banquet meal, a sack lunch to go, and a change of Clothes from our Clothes Bus complete with underwear, socks, and grooming items.

Caring for their physical needs provides opportunity to serve their spiritual needs, evidenced by 8,503 Homeless Repenters in this, our 10th year.

As a Christian Patriots Minister, Historian, Constitutionalist, Documentarian, Author,Louie E. Johnston Jr. personifies the American dream, being blessed of God in the greatest nation on earth for opportunity.
