Pray for Homeless Willie Shoemaker & Homeless killed by the
flood!
This prayer request by Roger, Homeless companion of Willie, age 72
Dozens of Homeless are missing since the flood came…camped on the river bank as they went to sleep not realizing the river was rising over flood stage until they were swept away by it. Roger and I ask you to pray for Roger’s companion Willie Shoemaker, who I have known for over 8 years in Homeless ministry, and all the other Homeless, most of whom never knew what hit them when the flood came. They will not have a funeral, memorial service, or anybody who really cared. No news media has told their story…
Clothing Bus is a highlight of the week for our Homeless brothers and sisters Anne Clemens puts the final blessing on what Karrie and Colleen spent many hours sorting and organizing the previous week, making it easy for guys to find shirts and pants in their size. Always short on underwear and socks and men’s jeans and work pants…just sayin’.
Karrie and Lorraine saved the day Saturday, from Sack Lunches to Banquet to Clothes Bus to Washing dishes…they got it done, but sure would have enjoyed having some help! “Motorcycle Bob” Trivette, from Cornerstone Church, serves coffee, ice water, hot lunch plates, cleans up, packs up, and is a terrific help to me as a “Disorder Deterrent”.

PRAISE REPORT BULLETIN JUST IN!
1. We have now paid our ministries bills pending from 15 months ago, caught up to date,
with Banquet donations and pending pledges. A heavy load of debt was lifted.
2. We have replaced, repaired, or refurbished vital equipment and supplies.
3. We now have 3 good used busses and one good used pickup truck we can rely on.
Prayer Requests!
1. Pray 1 minute weekly for this minstry! Pray for the missing homeless washed
away!
2. We need consistent funding going forward to meet the needs of the
Homeless!
Our “budget” consists of “what comes in we spend on the needy”, then we wait
until more comes in to spend on the needy. We have always been a “zero sum”
ministry, not a business. The needs are too great to play “hold some money
back for a rainy day”, when it is always an emergency day in the War Zone! No
“sinking fund” here, because the Homeless are dying brutal deaths daily on the
Streets…God did not cause people to give to this ministry to build our savings,
but to build His children a means of escape by rescuing them today! Ever
confident HE will provide, has always been our faith walk and talk.
