MORE PRECIOUS MEMORIES! SATURDAY MAY 22, 2010
Nathaniel Kemp was Homeless on the Streets of Nashville, his Fiance’ left him, he lost his job, and wanted desperately to find work and housing…Nate found Layman Lessons on the internet and was rescued from the Streets, put to work immediately, and has held that job for 6 months now, completing the initial phase of Discipleship Training for the Homeless. Nate was unusual in that he did not have an addiction problem, other than cigarettes.
Nate now moves in with Tony Baldwin, another graduate of our Discipleship Training who has been on the same job we got for him 18 months ago. Nate and Tony are now Ministry Interns in our new 3/4 House program made possible by our Housing benefactor.
Success story after success story of men letting God have His way and changing their lives to be blessed of God. We are extremely proud of Nate, who by the way at age 50 had never had a Drivers License or driven a vehicle. We changed that…Nate drives himself to work now and picks up Food and Clothing donations for us regularly. Nate just needed a chance.
Share these blessings…help us help others any Saturday morning. Children learn from your example…make precious memories with your family. 9 to Noon 8th Ave S. at Drexel St. This ministry is not funded by any Church, Denomination or Government entity.

Prayer Requests!
1. Pray 1 minute weekly for this minstry!
2. Pray for funding to continue operations!
Our “budget” consists of “what comes in we spend on the needy”, then we wait until more comes in to spend on the needy. We have always been a “zero sum” ministry, not a business. The needs are too great to “hold some money back for a rainy day” when it is always an emergency day in the War Zone! No “sinking fund” here, because
the Homeless are dying brutal deaths daily on the Streets…God did not cause people to give to this ministry to build our savings, but to build His children a means of escape by rescuing them today! Ever confident HE will provide, has always been our faith walk.
We need another $5,000 to repair and maintain our vehicles and worn equipment, then ongoing fuel, vehicle insurance, propane, peanut butter, lunch sacks, sandwich wraps, coffee, cream, napkins…and only after those basic needs are met, then we need supplies for the homeless that we can buy in bulk, like personal hygiene kits, socks, underwear… and bottled water saves lives in the summer!
3. CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE PASSENGER VAN AND SMALL CAR WE NEED!
