Hot Banquet Lunch of prime Chicken from Chick Fil A Rivergate, our sponsor since 2003, Italian Sausage, Meat Balls, Lasagna, Pasta from Olive Gardens, Rivergate and Hickory Hollow, Baked Potatoes from Red Lobsters and Longhorn Steak House, Bread, deserts, snacks from Publix in Hermitage and Antioch.
No wonder the Homeless love to have Church with us on Saturdays! 120 Homeless are waiting at their tables for our volunteers to serve this awesome hot food with hot coffee and “a cup of cold water in Jesus name”…while proud parents serve with their children, who are also shown below washing the dishes and pulling the weeds off the fence, making our peanut butter sandwiches and assembling our sack lunches for Homeless suppers, all with great joy to be able to do work for the Lord to Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked…right here.

Chuck Klusener, MBA, our Kitchen Director, helps kids learn how to wash dishes, put them away for next week. Two questions for you:
1. Is that God smiling on these kids through those sun rays in the photo below?
2. Would you like to make some precious memories training kids to actually serve?
Both LifeGroups from The Bridge Fellowship pictured led a total of 37 volunteers! I will take this group of kids and go to war with them anytime to serve the Lord. This is what we do…provide secure environment training to actually do 5 things… Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked, Shelter the Homeless, Preach the Gospel, and TRAIN DISCIPLES…how can you truly train disciples without on the job training?
Pastor Richard Gay leads 3 Homeless making Professions of Faith while men from The Bridge Fellowship, Judson Baptist, Clyde Beavers, and others pray w/Homeless men while our women volunteers pray and counsel with Homeless women seekers, all part of the 17 total Homeless men and women responding to the altar call.
Clyde Beavers starts Church service with a song, prays, counsels, and directs servers.
Special thanks to Martha Pfeil for her special music to start us off Saturday, followed by Clyde Beavers, former Country Music star with a #1 Billboard hit record, a man who had Jerry Reed for a guitar player and Ray Stevens for a piano player on national television for the Dick Clark American Bandstand show…yet Clyde now sings for the Homeless every Saturday morning…the only Country Music Star to sing for the Homeless every week.
This picture is your reward for reading this entire email…watchful eyes and guard dogs insure nobody gets our good used shoes, except maybe anybody who will pat the dogs and speak sweetly! This is our shoe swap, where the Homeless can better their shoe situation, but not carry off a pair or two to sell or barter for cigarettes, drugs, or booze. The Bible is clear we are to “be wise as serpants, but harmless as doves”, and good stewards.
You who support this ministry have every right to be proud of it!

We are directly across the street from the entrance to the new $14 million Room in the Inn facility that now has 36 apartments for Homeless men who can pay the $500 rent!
